This holiday season does not seem like the rest. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s shorter or the economy seeming to get better, but the mall is a frantic place to be! You’re surrounded by hundreds of people running to the store looking for the perfect gift for the people on their list. With the rapid evolution of technology the hot gifts change every year. Wondering what item was on the top of the list, I reached out to my fellow boojers and asked them what items they were hoping to receive this year. Here’s what they said.

Google Chromecast

Want an easy way to watch everything that’s on your computer screen on your TV? The Google Chromecast is a great option for all of us who cannot afford (or are not willing) to upgrade to an Apple TV. One boojer already has this and loves it so much he’s getting it as a gift for all of his friends and family members. Hope I’m included on that list.

iPad Air

For boojers without a tablet, the iPad Air was on the top of their list. The reasons were as broad as the uses of an iPad, from “it’s keeeeeewwwwl” to the anticipation of exploring more sites, as well as searching for design trends and the convenience a tablet can offer. For those who are not willing to pay the $499 for an iPad Air, an iPad Mini was on the top of their list.

FitBit

Surprisingly this wearable device was on the top of many boojers list. Many may be turning to it for help with their new year resolutions to be healthier and more active. As we all have desk jobs this can be a common struggle for anyone who works on computers. The fitbit helps trim down the waistline and increase energy levels by allowing users to track daily activity, calories burned, sleep and their weight. This data is then uploaded wirelessly and users can track the progress on their mobile or online dashboard.

Playstation 4

For gamers the choice was clearly PlayStation®4. This system opens the door to an incredible journey through immersive new gaming worlds and a deeply connected gaming community. PS4™ puts gamers first with an astounding launch lineup and over 180 games in development. Play amazing top-tier blockbusters and innovative indie hits on PS4™. Developer Inspired, Gamer Focus.

USB Logic Analyzer

This is a great tool for learning and debugging digital circuitry as well as low-level programming. It allows one to 'see' the pattern 1's and 0's being transmitted to or from an integrated circuit, like a CPU.

Samsung Galaxy Gear

If you haven’t heard about the Samsung Galaxy Gear you may have been living under a rock for the past couple months. This new technology allows wearers to do many functions they would originally do on their phone on their watch. Wearers can stay updated through glance notifications and make calls on-the-go.

iRobot Roomba Vacuum

Many boojers work long hours and have a booj hound of their own, so an iRobot vacuum may be the perfect gift. It’s a vacuum that cleans floors removing dirt, dust, pet hair and other debris all on its own. This is a handy gift that will help remove at least one chore.
